Chris Bartram

Chris Bartram is a seasoned guide, educator, program administrator, and consultant in the outdoor industry, with over a decade of diverse experience. Since 2012, he has held key leadership roles, including Program Director for Maine Bound at the University of Maine and the Northwest Outward Bound School. In addition, he has published four peer-reviewed articles and taught outdoor education courses at five colleges and universities, blending field-tested expertise with academic rigor. With more than 1,000 field days guiding and instructing for organizations such as North Cascades Mountain Guides, Outward Bound, and the Dunn School, Chris brings a depth of practical experience to his work. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adventure Education from Plymouth State University and a Master’s in College Student Development focused on Outdoor Program Administration, along with certifications across more than a dozen outdoor disciplines. Chris now spends most of his timing living and guiding in the North Cascades with North Cascades Mountain Guides and North Cascades Heli Skiing, and works part-time as a risk management consultant with Experiential Consulting.
